....and I am actually blogging. Blogging in the morning will work out perfectly for my schedule. As Love leaves for work at 6:45. I don't have to be in the shower until 7:20 or days like today when I am NOT washing my hair, it will be more like 7:30.
I woke up and did 15 minutes of Jillian's 6 week 6 pack DVD. Man, that is tough. I only did 15 minutes because I didn't have time to do the whole thing AND blog. So, I decided I will do what I can and finish it later or do Jillian's yoga meltdown DVD later.
A couple of more things to add to my new years resolutions are:
**I will drink 1-2 cups of coffee before leaving for work in the mornings. That way I can be focused solely on water consumption all day.
**I will also drink 20 oz. of water before the coffee in the mornings.
**Remember to take vitamins/iron supplements everyday.
I couldn't get through to 100 oz of water yesterday because I had a 24 oz of coffee to finish and it took me until about 11 AM to do it.
I realize that my resolutions will be all about baby steps. Starting with the getting up at 5AM. Today, I just COULD NOT DO IT! Not even at 6 I couldn't. My iron deficiency is really kicking my trash lately. I need more veggies/red meat and less sugar and CRAP!
Today's menu:
BF: Oatmeal with raisins, PB and a banana that if I don't eat within 20 minutes will surely be bad ;)
Lunch: Spaghetti Squash with Sauce
Snack: Apples with White Chocolate PB(?Maybe)
Dinner is going to be Prime Rib, I believe and a big salad.
Today's Agenda, assuming it pans out is Costco. I really love buying fruits/veggies from them because you get SO MUCH!
I am also going to start doing a "Goal of the Day"! Baby steps...Baby steps.
Today's GOTD: Clean out all of the CRAP from the fridge and the pantry.
What is your Goal for the Day? I hope you have a fabulous day, because you ARE FABULOUS :)

Pandora Lover!
I am addicted to my Rihanna station on Pandora today. It made the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred fly by this morning. I loved it. It was harder today as I am still SUPER sore from doing it(and the dancing I did at the concert).
Today was a good day all around. Work was slow in the morning, but picked up a little in the afternoon. I love busy days at work, because they fly by. I am one of those lucky people that love their jobs(most of the time). I have obstacles to overcome, but every time I find solutions to problems, I feel that much stronger and more qualified at my job.
I came home and fell asleep immediately. My sleeping schedule has been all over the place the last few months. I can't fall asleep, but once I do I am O-U-T. Then, I can't hardly wake up. Therefore, no gym in the morning. That will change once half marathon training starts. If I don't have a treadmill by then, I will be getting up at 4:30 to hit the gym in the morning.
On to the eats for today...
Breakfast
Lunch
A side salad with french beans, spinach, and grape tomatoes. The main course was 1 cup of my yummy homemade chili. I rock at making that chili, I tell ya. I put some plain greek yogurt and a little sprinkle of cheese on top. It was awesome.
Desert
My tummy was craving something sweet, so I had a fiber one bar for desert.
Dinner
A serving of penne rosa(I love the veggies in it) with a piece of pita bread. Holy yum!
Desert #2
The cupcakes I made turned out SO GOOD. I rarely bake anything, but when I do, I definitely enjoy it. Love enjoys it also.
On a sidenote, I have been doing great with my water intake. I have exceeded my 128 oz. of water for the past 2 days. Thanks to the 2 8 oz. glasses of water in the morning. I feel more energized and awake all day.
Do you use pandora? What is your favorite station?

Let's Talk....
So, this weekend I have really thought about a few things that have changed about my body and I thought I would share. Just a fair warning, this is a TMI post for just a minute, but not the whole thing and I promise not to be gross.
First things first, my energy level is quite amazing! I wake up happy, I workout, I go to work, I come home, I clean, I cook(or get takeout), and I go to bed. I used to take naps close to everyday, but now, I rarely take naps. Love took a 3 hour nap Saturday(he worked early) and I stayed up. I cleaned, stained cabinets, worked out a little and played with the dogs. We got up together at 6:30, but I had all the energy in the world. I am still surprised that I don't take naps. I deal with a touch of insomnia these days. I go to bed between 10pm and 12am and get up at 4:45am most days. So, I really need to work on getting sleep, so I have a plan. I will share this in a later post!
Secondly, I have never been *AHEM* regular in the potty department. It was normal to not poop for 3 days. I bet you I dropped the kids off at the pool maybe 2 times a week, 3 if I was lucky. Now, I drink 1-2 cups of coffee in the morning, I pack lots of fruits, veggies, and fiber into my diet. Plus, I drink over 100 oz. of water a day. Now, I go at least 2 times, if not 3 or 4 times a day. I love the feeling of not being "plugged" up like I used to. The down side to how regular I am is I have freaking gas pretty badly some days(okay, more like 4 days out of the week). Love always says,"Wow, that was lady like!!! I remember when you would try to hold it in, but now you just let it rip!" I always blame the dogs, but he doesn't believe me! Haha!
Last but not least, the food my body craves. I am currently going off of sweets and treats for 2 week, today is day 4 and it is not that bad. My body craves veggies, fruits and yogurt, which is a long ways from Quesadillas, cookies, and my all time favorite cheesy bean and rice burritos a la Taco Bell. Now, I still remember how much I love those burritos, but I have not had one in almost a year. I love me some banana, kiwi, salad, broccoli and my body craves those now. It is such a great feeling.
So, there you have it! What body changes have you noticed since beginning your journey?

I Should Have Gotten Water....
Instead, I got a Long Island Iced Tea. It was free poured, which in Utah is ILLEGAL. So, I got a lot more liquor than the 1.5 ounce that is legal.
Friday night, Loves and I took a little nap, chilled at home, and went and got take out from "Mimi's Cafe". I love love love Mimi's. I had salmon and veggies, but I also got the corn chowder which lasted Friday and Saturday. Not too horrible of a choice right? That was until I ate the bread pudding. However, i'm not going to totally beat myself up, because I hadn't had much to eat all day.
Saturday, I started off my day with a 2 mile run at the high school track. I love running on the track! I never thought i'd like running or be able to do it for long. I used to get tired walking up the stairs. Now, I can run 2 whole miles non stop at a good pace. We just hung around the house with our pups for the rest of the day!
Yesterday my legs were a little sore, but I went on a run anyways. Boy, that was an awesome decision. It's so nice to exercise. I feel so much better about my body when I do! Last night we went and saw the "Yeah Yeah Yeahs" in concert and that's where the long island comes in. Too many calories, I know. I was feeling the pain this morning.
You bet your ass next time i'll listen to my inner voice and just order water!!

Staying On Task...
My biggest problem with exercise is my mind wanders. I "allow" my self to take breaks when it gets too hard....Wrong, Very Wrong. Today, I did my second week of training. It was supposed to be the last of 4-6 days that week, however it was only the third. I'll be repeating it next week.
I did stick to it though. I ran the whole time I was supposed to run. No stopping. I pushed through and it felt so phenomenal.
"Loves" and I had a barbecue at his aunt's house tonight. I didn't really do that great at eating, but I listened to what my body had to say. I ate until I was satisfied and I feel good.
Now, I just need to work on drinking enough water. I drink 60+ ounces a day, but I'd like to double that. I feel dehydrated, especially when I exercise.
Overall, I think week 2 went fairly well. Week 1 was awesome, but for getting sick the first part of week 2 and being in bed for 2 days....Week 2 wasn't horrible.
I actually won't be weighing myself until the end of week 4. I know what I started out at and I get VERY discouraged on the weeks I gain or don't lose, so i'll only be weighing every 2 or 4 weeks.
Week 3 starts tomorrow.....
